Arun教授訪問華僑大學(xué)移動計(jì)算實(shí)驗(yàn)室

201967日,印度韋洛爾理工大學(xué)(Vellore Institute of TechnologyArun Kumar Sangaiah教授應(yīng)華僑大學(xué)計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)與技術(shù)學(xué)院王田老師邀請,到移動計(jì)算實(shí)驗(yàn)室訪問,并在學(xué)院實(shí)驗(yàn)樓A-408給我院師生做了一場精彩的“物聯(lián)網(wǎng)(IoT)的計(jì)算可持續(xù)性及其研究挑戰(zhàn)”主題報告。

報告中,Arun Kumar Sangaiah結(jié)合自身多年的科研經(jīng)驗(yàn),從研究目標(biāo)與議程、計(jì)算可持續(xù)性方面、可持續(xù)計(jì)算的應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域等方面展開論述。期間還介紹了自己當(dāng)前的研究工作,深入探討了“人類與象”的沖突監(jiān)測與預(yù)防的研發(fā)案例,體現(xiàn)了物聯(lián)網(wǎng)應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域與印度當(dāng)?shù)刈匀画h(huán)境的有機(jī)結(jié)合。

計(jì)算可持續(xù)性是一個跨學(xué)科領(lǐng)域,旨在應(yīng)用智能技術(shù)來平衡環(huán)境,經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會對可持續(xù)發(fā)展的需求;主要集中在提出關(guān)于與可持續(xù)性相關(guān)的一些最具挑戰(zhàn)性問題的決策制定的計(jì)算模型和方法。

Arun Kumar Sangaiah received the Master of Engineering degree from Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2007, and the Ph.D. from the Vellore Institute of Technology,Vellore, India, in 2014. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Computing Science and Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology. He has authored or coauthored more than 250 scientific papers in high-standard Science Citation Index (SCI) journals, such as the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL INFORMATICS, the IEEE COMMUNICATION MAGAZINE, IEEE SYSTEMS, the IEEE INTERNET OF THINGS, the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON SERVICES COMPUTING, and the IEEE ETC. In addition, he has authored/edited more than eight books (Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor, and Francis) and 50 journal special issues in the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL INFORMATICS, the IEEE COMMUNICATION MAGAZINE, the IEEE INTERNET OF THINGS, the IEEE CONSUMER ELECTRONIC MAGAZINE, etc. He holds one Indian patent in the area of computational intelligence. He is an Editorial Board Member/Associate Editor for various international SCI journals. His research interests include software engineering, Internet of Things, computational intelligence, wireless networks.
