Yungang Zhu is currently an Associate Professor in College of Computer Science and Technology, Jilin University. He received his B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Jilin University in 2004, 2007, 2012, and was a Joint Ph.D. student in University of Trento, Italy. He was also a post-doctoral fellow or visiting scholar in Vienna University of Technology in Austria, Dresden University of Technology in Germany,  etc.

His current work involves statistical machine learning, graphical models, data mining, knowledge engineering, uncertainty processing. In recent years, he has published over thirty articles and two books. He is also the recipient of natural science award of Jilin province, national commercial science and technology award of China, and the outstanding postdoctoral award of Jilin University, etc.

Dr. Zhu is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access, IEEE Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Journal of Universal Computer Science. He served as the Program or Organizing Committee Member for reputable international conferences such as AAAI '19'20'21, WWW '21, IEEE Healthcom '17'18'19, KSEM 18, etc. He is the Committee Member of CCF Technical Committee on Computer Applications, CAAI Technical Committee on Intelligent Service, and CAAI Technical Committee on Knowledge Engineering and Distributed Intelligence.
