Professor Xibao Li, Ph.D. is a distinguished professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanchang Hangkong University, China. His primary research focuses on the design of semiconductor nanocatalytic materials, photoelectrocatalysis for energy and environmental applications, and advanced high-temperature resistant composites.

Professor Li has established a prolific research profile. He has authored or co-authored over 100 SCI-indexed papers as the first or corresponding author in prestigious journals including Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Applied Catalysis B: Environment and Energy, ACS Catalysis, Nano Energy, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Hazardous Materials, etc. His impactful work is evidenced by more than 29 ESI Highly Cited Papers, a Google Scholar citation count exceeding 10000, and an H-index of 50. He also holds more than 20 authorized national invention patents (9 of them have achieved patent transfer). His research has been supported by key grants such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Jiangxi Provincial Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

His scholarly excellence has been recognized through numerous honors. He is a Fellow of both the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) and the Vebleo Society. He has been listed in Stanford University's global top 2% most-cited scientists ranking. He is also a recipient of the First and Second Prize of Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Award and the Science and Technology Award from the China Circular Economy Association. Professor Li is an active contributor to the international academic community through extensive editorial service. He currently serves as a Senior Editorial Board Member or Editorial Board Member for several renowned SCI journals, including Chinese Chemical Letters, Chinese Journal of Catalysis, Acta Physico-Chimica Sinica, eScience and Rare Metals. He has also acted as a Guest Editor for journals such as Chinese Chemical Letters, Molecules, Catalysts, and International Journal of Photoenergy. Furthermore, he serves as a reviewer for over 30 leading international journals, including Advanced Materials, Nature Communications, Advanced Functional Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, ACS Catalysis, Water Research, and Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, for which he has received Outstanding Reviewer awards.
