Hong Kong Baptist University is an internationalized University with students from all over the World. To encourage more international students to join us and to enhance multi-cultural exchanges among the students, we start this scholarship programme for MSC students, called MSC Fellowship.

In the following, I will give a brief introduction of our MSC Programme, as well as MSC Fellowship (Scholarship).

Introduction to MSC Programme:

Our Computer Science Department, Hong Kong Baptist University is offering two Master of Science Programmes, which last for one year:

1)      Master of Science in Information Technology Management (MSC-ITM) (Open to students with varies background)

2)      Master of Science in Advanced Information System (MSC-AIS) (Open to students with Science/Engineering background)

Introduction to Scholarships:

1)      MSC Fellowship Scholarship

provided to International applicants who have excellent academic performance. For the successful applicants, the tuition fee is waived (HK$ 108,000, approximately US$ 14,000) and a certificate of fellowship is given to each awardee.

2)      MSC Entrance Scholarship

provided to freshmen with excellent academic records in their undergraduate studies. Each recipient can receive at most HK$30,000 (approximately US$ 3,900).

3)      High Distinction/Distinction/Merit Scholarships

provided to students with excellent academic performance during MSC studies. Each student can obtain at most HK$24,000 (approximately US$ 3,100).

***Remarks***

Please be noted that the deadline for the MSC Fellowship (Scholarship) was initially set on 30 Dec. 2014 which is earlier than the deadline of general MSC Programme (Feb 28, 2015) to increase the chance for successful applicants to get the on-campus dormitory. If the students don’t have preference of living on campus or in off-campus apartment, they may get extended deadline, which is identical with our general MSC Programme.
