Dr. Jihong Wan is the Guangdong Provincial Young Outstanding Research Talent, the distinguished associate professor of the "Young Hundred Program" in Guangdong University of Technology, the  visiting scholar of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She is the special committee member of Granular Computing and Knowledge Discovery in Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence, and the member of IEEE/CCF/CAAI. Her main research interests include uncertainty artificial intelligence, intelligent information processing, data mining and knowledge discovery, rough set and granular computing. She is the author or co-author over more than 30 academic papers, some of which have been published in international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Information Fusion, Pattern Recognition, Information Sciences, Knowledge-Based Systems, Information Processing & Management, Applied Intelligence, International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, etc. She was invited to be the Session Chair of "The 16th Fuzzy Logic and Intelligent Technologies in Nuclear Science-Intelligent Systems and Knowledge Engineering (FLINS-ISKE 2024)" and the Program Chair of "The 12th International Joint Conference on Rough Sets (IJCRS 2026)", etc. She also has served as a reviewer for many international academic journals and conferences, such as IEEE TPAMI, TFS, TCYB, TNNLS, TSE, TII, TMECH, T-ITS, JBHI, TBD, INFFUS, PR, INS, KBS, NEUNET, EAAI, ESWA, APIN, NEUCOM, DMKD, etc.
