He is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the School of Computer Science at South China Normal University, as well as a Distinguished Member of the China Computer Federation (CCF). His research interests include graph data mining and intelligent education. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in prestigious international journals and conferences, including TPAMI, TKDE, TNNLS, TBD, Information Fusion, Neural Networks, AAAI, WWW, SIGIR, MM, CIKM, UAI, and DASFAA.
